WISPA Excited NTIA Broadband Grants Process Has Begun

Today, the NTIA published its “Request for Comment on Broadband Programs in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.”  The following statement may be attributed to Claude Aiken, President and CEO of WISPA:
Washington, DC, January 7, 2022 – We're excited that this process has begun in earnest and look forward to helping the NTIA create a framework that is technologically inclusive, fair and equitable, and which places as its highest priority affordable and evolutionary internet access for the unserved.
WISPA’s 1000 members are composed of fixed Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) and the evolving industry that supports fixed broadband connectivity, including equipment suppliers, support services, and other components needed to run a successful business. Our members provide evolutionary broadband access to millions of residential and business customers in rural, urban and Tribal areas across America.
