WISPA Welcomes Newly Elected

The following statement may be attributed to Eric Slee, VP of Government Affairs, WISPA – Broadband Without Boundaries:

Washington, DC, November 10, 2022 – WISPA welcomes the incoming class of U.S. federal, state and local officials who won their bids in the 2022 elections. Our members serve millions of Americans in the toughest reaches of the country, delivering fixed wireless and fiber connectivity that makes their lives better. Partnership with our communities – citizens, as well as the public institutions which underpin their prosperity – makes that succeed. In this regard, WISPA looks forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure the universal uptake of internet access so that Americans, no matter where they live or their individual circumstances, can get online and thrive. Meaningful access to spectrum; fair, open and transparent government support for broadband deployment programs; and “right-sized” regulations for small internet providers will help us all achieve the many exciting opportunities which lie ahead.

To those who were elected on Tuesday – Congratulations! WISPA stands ready to help you deliver for your constituents.
